Regardless whether it's a trip on the Alpine Road in Germany, scaling the Great St. Bernard Pass, driving across the Golden Gate Bridge or travelling through the Rocky Mountains - the brand new Audiovox Dashcam DVR 300 HD-GPS can capture any scenic or exciting car journey in Full HD on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 32 GB (1080p/30 frames per second). The safety aspect offered by this unit is also nothing to be sneezed at; its unlimited field of vision means it is able to retrace the sequence of events leading to an accident extremely well. The compact, high performance camera can be securely attached to the car's windscreen via a suction cup. Its 140 degree wide angle lens enables high-resolution recordings. In addition, it is also possible to take individual photos while recording your video. Full control is provided via the 2.7 inch monitor at the rear of the camera. The integrated high-performance battery, a reliable Auto On/Auto Off function, which is provided via a USB cable connected to the cigarette lighter, and the easy to understand menu system ensure maximum convenience and ease of use. The adjustable G-sensor automatically records and backs up data in the event of an accident. The Dashcam DVR 300 HD-GPS also features an integrated GPS function, which allows you to retrace the exact route you have travelled - this can be important, for example, when it comes to reconstructing an accident. The data is stored on the microSD card. Audiovox offers free software on its website which allows you to read and utilise this data. The external GPS antenna that is required for using the GPS feature is optionally available from the extensive range of accessories offered by Audiovox.
