Mit dem kompakten handlichen Messgerät HIOKI 3432 lassen sich schnell und einfach Lärmschutzmessungen für den Arbeitsschutz durchführen: Einschalten - starten - loslegen. Das kleine, handliche und optisch beeindruckende Messgerät ist somit bestens für den universellen Einsatz in diversen Umweltbereichen geeignet.

Schallpegelmessungen werden mit Hilfe einer logarithmischen Skala in dB bewertet. 0dB entsprechen der Hörschwelle und 140dB der Schmerzgrenze. Meist über 100dB liegen Lärmpegel von Presslufthämmern oder beim Start von Düsenflugzeugen, Büro und Verkehrslärm dürften bei 60 bis 90 dB liegen. Nachdem die Empfindlichkeit des menschlichen Gehörs nicht der linearen Empfindlichkeit eines Mikrofons entspricht, sind entsprechende Gewichtungen zu berücksichtigen.
