BioVaria Goes Europe: Marketplace for Life-Science Inventions from Leading European Research Institutions
Showcasing event to be held on 20 April 2010 in Munich, Germany
Key features of BioVaria 2010 are:
- Presentation of Europe's top 50 lifescience technologies available for licensing
- Spinoff Panel introducing Europe's most promising lifescience startups
- Interactive format combining 10min presentations with an allday poster exhibition
- Ample space to discuss scientific details facetoface with the inventors
- Unique opportunity to exchange inlicensing needs with technology transfer professionals from a wide range of institutions and universities from all over Europe
The range of participating technology transfer organizations and potential licensees has significantly expanded since BioVaria was launched in 2008. This year, patent agencies from Norway, Austria and France will join the German technology transfer teams as event partners. 'BioVaria attracts an audience that is truly interested in licensing or funding innovative earlystage projects', Stéphane Mottola from the French technology transfer specialist FIST comments. 'For us, this is a unique chance to gain visibility for our technologies and establish relevant contacts. Moreover, we strongly endorse BioVaria's approach to working together across organizational, regional and national borders in order to improve the transfer of research results into application.'
