VfB Stuttgart and Artificial Life Launch the Official VfB Stuttgart Mobile Game

The game is already available on designated channels in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Established in 1893 in Stuttgart, Baden-Wurttemberg, VfB Stuttgart is the biggest sports club in its state and the fifth largest in Germany with more than 45,000 members. The team has won the German Soccer Championship five times, with its most recent success in the 2006/07 season. VfB is also a three-time winner of the German Soccer Federation Cup (DFB Cup).

The official mobile game for VfB Stuttgart offers an exciting soccer experience for the fans. Players can create their own starting line-up, formation and playing strategy before kick-off and customize options such as match time, level of difficulty and location for each match.

A great variety of kicking and shooting commands are implemented in the game to test players' skills as well as to offer a realistic soccer experience. In the game VfB Stuttgart plays a variety of match types including the league, friendly match, and tournament, which include precise free kicks, corner kicks and penalty kicks performed by players. The mobile game features animated avatars of the stars of VfB Stuttgart wearing their official 2009/10 jerseys. The performance of each player is varied according to his individual skills. These fine details contribute to a very realistic, competitive, and highly entertaining mobile game. Moreover, with the refined visual and audio presentation, players are able to feel the passion of playing in front of a cheering crowd at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the home stadium for VfB Stuttgart.
