Dies hat eine Leserumfrage des Online-Mobilfunkmagazins AreaMobile.de unter 650 Handynutzern ergeben, die vom 18. April bis 22. Mai 2006 stattfand.
Bei der Umfrage wurden die User nach Handys, Smartphones sowie nach zukünftigen Trends und Entwicklungen gefragt. Unter den Handys glänzt das K800i von Sony Ericsson mit 37% auf Platz Nummer Eins, gefolgt vom Nokia 6131 mit 14%. Auch BenQ-Siemens ist es anscheinend gelungen, die Kundennähe wieder herzustellen, denn das EF 91 wurde mit 10,5% auf den dritten Platz gewählt.
