"today" now speaks Chinese
- Arburg's customer magazine "today" available in national language for Chinese market
- Up-to-date information on injection moulding, technology and company news
With immediate effect, Chinese customers will also receive comprehensive information on Arburg news, technical innovations and applications in their national language. Beginning the current issue of the "today" customer magazine, which appeared on the occasion of the Fakuma 2011, the publication will now also be published in Chinese.
There are good reasons for this. In the People's Republic of China, with its continuing rapid technological development, information regarding high-tech injection moulding systems, high-end applications and interesting content on the topics of service and application technology is becoming increasingly important. For Arburg as a machine manufacturer, the international customer magazine is an essential medium for keeping customers up-to-date on injection moulding topics, worldwide.
Establishment in the 1970s
The Arburg customer magazine was first established back in 1970. The initial edition of "Arburg heute" (Arburg today) appeared in the spring and the name is reflected in the title of the international version to this day. The first issue of the new publication entitled "today" appeared in 1995, in German and English only. The second issue, however, also already appeared in French. From issue 5 in 1997, the customer magazine was made available in five languages, German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
Important information in an interesting and readable format
The fact that the diverse range of articles published by Arburg in this trimestrial publication are avidly read by international customers is evidenced by the high demand for new language versions. The Chinese version has consequently joined the existing German, English, French, Spanish and Italian editions. The total circulation of "today" also speaks for itself: In all languages, more than 33,000 copies are printed, a significant proportion of which will now also appear in Chinese.
With its journalistic texts and high-quality images, the "today" customer magazine communicates even complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. The mix of relevant company news, technical features, project and customer reports as well as service topics ensures that the readers are succinctly and comprehensively informed of the latest developments at Arburg and in the injection moulding sector. Arburg's "today" has consequently become one of the most important and highest-circulation trade journals in the plastics industry, with a growing popularity worldwide.
