On 28th June 2007 Arburg Hungary held its annual “Juniális” event, which always includes a presentation on current injection moulding topics and a tour of interesting companies. This year, the 60 participants visited the Dekorsy kft Hungary company in Sopron and subsequently learned about the subject of large machines.

The aim of the half-day event is to give Hungarian customers an overview of the state of technological development and demonstrate the Allrounders’ range of applications in practice. The good response and positive feedback from the participants prove again, every year, that the compact concept of the event works.

A particular highlight is always the tour of the plant, which offers an interesting insight into injection moulding in practice. With its wide range of products and a machine fleet of 49 Allrounders, Dekorsy kft Hungary is a prime example for demonstrating the versatility and performance of the Allrounders. The company belongs to the dekorsy corporate group which has its headquarters and central office in Radolfzell on Lake Constance. Dekorsy manufactures products for the automotive, audio, video and telecommunication, computer, hygiene and machine construction sectors. During the tour of the production in Sopron, the guests appeared enthusiastic about the wide range of machines. In addition to hydraulic Allrounders, multi-component machines, automation and an electric Allrounder, which produced parts in a remarkable cycle time of 2.9 seconds, were also represented.

The second part of the event followed on from this in the nearby Hotel Fagus; a presentation was given by Peter Mezo, sales consultant at Arburg Hungária Kft., on the subject of large machines. He clearly explained for the participants the Arburg range of large Allrounders 630 S, 720 S, 820 S and 920 S, whose clamping force range extends from 2500 to 5000 kN. He detailed the advantages that can be achieved by using the large Arburg machines for the particular companies and their production tasks. The precise adaptation of the large Allrounders to the production environment, the operation and production management as well as equipping with robotic systems were additional points in the presentation. Over the course of the communal dinner, there was still ample opportunity to consider and discuss in greater depth the topics raised during the informative afternoon.
