On 12 September 2006, the new premises of the Arburg Thailand subsidiary were officially opened. The new domicile of Arburg (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Bangkok can now be found at the following address: "59/4 Moo 16, Srinakarin Road, Tambol Bangkaew, Amphur Bangplee".

Arburg's presence in Thailand dates back to 1993. In 2001, the representative office in Bangkok was expanded to subsidiary status. In doing so, Arburg underscored the strategic and economic importance of this region, in which a great number of plastics-processing companies are active.

The Thailand customers receive the best possible support from subsidiary manager Ratree Boonsay and her team, consisting of two service engineers and one accounts employee.

With the move to the new premises, a total area of 300 square metres, spread over three floors, is now available for offices, a showroom and a spare parts store. The showroom provides space for two Allrounders, which are representative of the current Arburg machine programme. So not only can customers and interested parties convince themselves of the Allrounders' high performance, but also customer moulds can be tested on the exhibits.

Furthermore, the showroom together with the adjoining training room provide facilities for offering various courses at the new premises in Bangkok. A fast spare part service guarantees a well-assorted spare parts store in conjunction with the online networking of the subsidiary. This enables spare parts to be quickly ordered from other Asian subsidiaries or from Arburg headquarters in Germany and then to be despatched to Thailand.
