Groundbreaking for Arburg Technology Center in Irvine, California

On October 04, 2006 Arburg broke ground for its new West Coast Technology Center in Irvine, CA. Located in a prime position, just 10 minutes from the Orange County airport, the building will have a floor space of approximately 5,800 square feet. At the center of this state of the art facility will be the demonstration and training area with capacity for six molding machines ranging in size from micro-shot models up to the largest Arburg Allrounder of 600 US-tons.

Arburg is making this significant investment to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place to support the growth and needs of its expanding customer base in the very important West-Coast region.

Meeting customers demands
The Arburg Technology Center will be completed within ten months and shall serve to meet the ever increasing technical demands of today’s market, providing its customers with convenient access to the very latest Arburg technology and a wealth of know-how and expertise at a local level.

Celebrating “50 years of ARBURG injection moulding machines” world-wide in 2006, Arburg is also in the process of establishing a new Technology Center in Chicago to support it’s customers in the Midwest-region with the same level of commitment and professional service.
Arburg’s North America headquarters are located in Newington, CT. The company has served the North American market since the Sixties and has supplied and serviced thousands of machines across all segments of the injection molding industry.
