Arburg at Interplastica 2012
- Smallest vertical Allrounder 175 V
- Vertical machines from 125 to 4,000 kN
- Variety of solutions for encapsulation of inserts
At the Interplastica, which will take place from 24 to 27 January 2012 in Moscow, Arburg will exhibit the smallest representative of its extensive vertical machine range. At exhibition stand FD 37 in the Forum Hall, trade visitors will be able to experience the potential of the vertical Allrounder 175 V with a clamping force of 125 kN, which is predestined for the encapsulation of inserts and therefore provides a high degree of production efficiency.
The hydraulic Allrounder V series comprises the 175, 275 and 375 machine sizes and covers a clamping force range from 125 kN to 500 kN. All three machines feature a fixed, vertical clamping unit, designed as a free-space system. This operates with a down-stroking movement, preventing the inserts from slipping on the fixed mould half.
Like all Arburg machines, the Allrounder V models are also of a modular design and enable various combinations in terms of clamping force and injection unit. Because the injection units can be arranged vertically or horizontally, injection can take place either centrally or into the parting line. Thanks to the free-space system and the low table heights, these Allrounders are suitable for both manual and automated insertion and removal of moulded parts. Vertical machines can also be optionally equipped with rotary or sliding tables and are therefore also suitable for integration in complete production lines.
Extensive range of vertical machines
The Allrounder V machine series is only one of a number of Arburg vertical machine offerings, the variety and breadth of which is unique in the sector. Further machines include the Allrounder S with a swivelling clamping unit and interchangeable injection unit, the flexible vertical Allrounder T rotary-table machines as well as special, custom-configured vertical machines. The clamping force range from 125 to 4,000 kN is thus comprehensively covered.
In order to enable simultaneous insertion and removal of items during the injection process, machine versions with rotary or sliding tables are also available. This enables shorter cycle times and thus higher productivity. The versatile configuration options ensure that vertical Allrounders are ideally suited to the production requirements at hand and can also be easily integrated in automated production lines. The automation solutions extend through to complete turnkey systems, which Arburg supplies as a main project contractor.
