VueMetrix Inc. hat einen neuen Laserdiodencontroller entwickelt, den Vue-LV-30, der den zweifachen Ausgangsstrom (30A) als das bestehende LV-15-Modell bei gleicher Größe und Leistung erreicht.

Der Vue-LV-30 verwendet die gleiche digitale Signalverarbeitungstechnologie der LV-15: Der Laserstrom wird durch einen Software-Algorithmus reguliert (und nicht durch traditionelle analoge Regelung). Der Controller ist somit unempfindlich gegenüber Alterungsprozessen, Temperatur und Umgebung. Das verwendete Schaltnetzteil minimiert die Wärmeabführ und erlaubt damit eine geringe Baugröße.

Das Vue-LV-30 enthält einen Treiber für den Pilot-Laser. Die Ausgangsspannung reicht von 1,4 bis 2,5V. Der Mikroprozessor ermöglicht die Implementierung vieler Standardfunktionen komplett in der Software.
