aleo solar presents self-consumption solutions for Italy at Solarexpo

With solar energy subsidies in Italy due to expire soon under the renewable energy act known as Conto Energia V, the Italian photovoltaic market is facing an upheaval: The elimination of a fixed feed-in-tariff will shift the market's focus to the self consumption of solar energy. aleo solar AG has developed products and services that make solar energy systems attractive in Italy even without fixed feed-in-tariffs. The solar company is presenting its solutions in Milan from May 8 to 10 at Solarexpo, Italy's most important trade fair for renewable energies.

aleo solar will present its storage solutions, a combination of heat pumps with photovoltaics as well as a practical two-in-one PVT hybrid module. The hybrid module combines photovoltaics and thermal heating within a single module. The black aleo S_79 solar module, with its tailored thermal component from the Italian company Fototherm on the back, provides hot water and electricity at the same time. The solution combines the advantages of thermal and photovoltaic solar installations. In addition, the thermal module ensures the optimal operating temperature of the photovoltaic cells by cooling them, thereby increasing electricity production. At Solarexpo, aleo solar will also demonstrate another cost-efficient combination of photovoltaics and thermal heating: Operating a heat pump with electricity from solar modules is more profitable and environmentally friendly than other heating systems which use fossil energy. For storing solar electricity, aleo solar offers a storage solution from the German system supplier E3DC that is suitable for single-family homes and small businesses. It includes high-efficiency lithium-ion batteries with a life expectancy of up to 20 years. They require very little space, are easy to install and operate fully automatically.

Thanks to its comprehensive services, aleo solar acquired many new customers last year. The company's market share in Italy nearly doubled in 2012 compared to the year before.
