aleo solar AG signs cell procurement agreement with ersol AG

(PresseBox) (Oldenburg/Prenzlau, ) aleo solar AG [ISIN: DE000A0JM634] today announced that it has signed a procurement agreement for solar cells with ersol Solar Energy AG (ISIN: DE0006627532). The contract, which runs from 2008 to the end of 2019, covers a volume of 253 megawatts. The agreement stipulates fair market prices, and initial deliveries will be made as early as this summer.

Heiner Willer, member of the Management Board of aleo solar AG, comments: "We know that ersol produces to a high standard of quality and reliability. We have made the conscious decision to seek partnership with quality suppliers. In ersol, we have added yet another company to our base of cell suppliers which shares our understanding of quality.

Dr. Claus Beneking, chairman of the Management Board of ersol Solar Energy AG, says: "By agreeing on fair market prices both partners act responsibly to ensure that they are able to offer their customers products at attractive prices."

Both domestically and internationally, aleo solar AG is systematically pursuing its growth targets. Currently, production capacities are being expanded from 100 to 180 megawatts by the end of 2008.

aleo solar AG, with sales operations in Oldenburg (Lower Saxony) and manufacturing facilities in Prenzlau(Brandenburg), was formed in September 2001 and produces solar modules using silicon cells. Its facility in Prenzlau has an annual capacity of 90 megawatts and is currently being expanded to 180 megawatts.At the beginning of 2007, production also started in Santa María de Palautordera (Spain), with an annual capacity of 10 megawatts. Since the beginning of 2008, aleo solar AG has also had a 50% equity interest in avim solar production Co. Ltd., a joint venture with Sunvim Group Co.
