Er löst damit Non-Executive Director Andreas Nikolaus (Niki) Lauda ab, der den Board der Air Berlin PLC verlässt, um sich stärker seiner Aufgabe als Chairman of the Board des Formel-1-Teams von Mercedes widmen zu können.
