Air Berlin steigert Passagierzahl und Erlös im Februar

Im Februar 2010 konnte Deutschlands zweitgrößte Fluggesellschaft Air Berlin die Zahl der Passagiere um 3,1 Prozent auf 1.951.085 steigern (inklusive übernommener TUIfly Strecken). Im Februar 2009 waren es 1.893.197 Passagiere (inklusive übernommener TUIfly Strecken). Gleichzeitig konnte Air Berlin im Februar 2010 den Erlös pro Sitzplatzkilometer (ASK) verbessern.

Dieser stieg im Monatsvergleich von 5,33 auf 5,51 Eurocent - ein Plus von 3,3 Prozent. Die Auslastung der Flugzeuge verringerte sich nur leicht um 0,3 Prozentpunkte auf 70,6 Prozent (Februar 2009: 70,9 Prozent). Die Kapazität wurde im Monatsvergleich um 3,5 Prozent angehoben.
