Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857, NYSE: ATE), der führende Anbieter von Halbleiter-Testlösungen, stellt das neue T2000 ISS IPE2 Modul vor. Dieses ermöglicht eine deutlich kürzere Bildverarbeitungszeit beim Test von CMOS-Bildsensoren mit hoher Pixelzahl, die in Smartphones, Tablet-PCs, Digitalkameras und Videocamcordern verwendet werden. Durch die kürzeren Testdurchlaufzeiten lassen sich die Kosten pro Bauteil reduzieren, so dass die Elektronikprodukte kostengünstiger werden.

Das neueste Testmodul von Advantest für die T2000 Plattform enthält eine verbesserte Bildverarbeitungs-Engine mit einer Quad-Core-CPU. Durch den Einsatz von vier Mikroprozessor-Cores kann die flexible ISS IPE2 Einheit jedem Bauteil eine unabhängige Bildverarbeitungs-Engine bei simultanen Tests zuordnen.
