Advanced Inflight Alliance AG (ISIN DE0001262186, German SIN (WKN) 126218, domiciled at: Schellingstr. 35, 80799 Munich) today announced significant growth in both sales and earnings for the first six months of 2009.
The Advanced Inflight Alliance Group posted sales of EUR 57.8 million in the first six months of 2009, up from EUR 50.3 million the previous year.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) also grew to EUR 6,495 thousand (previous year: EUR 5,064 thousand).
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) in the first half of 2009 totaled EUR 4,507 thousand (previous year: EUR 3,633 thousand).
Net profit for the first six months of 2009 increased to EUR 3,340 thousand (previous year: EUR 2,574 thousand) in spite of a higher tax rate.
Earnings per share as of June 30, 2009, were EUR 0.23, up from EUR 0.17 the previous year.
