Stephan Mayer (62) studied mechanical engineering and industrial engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and graduated Dr. sc. techn. ETH in 1980. He has extensive professional experience in various industrial sectors, including eight years as CEO of an international corporate group engaged in plant and machinery manufacture. Stephan Mayer has been self-employed since 2003. To date he has fulfilled temporary assignments for more than twenty companies, for example in the fields of technology, market development, production and logistics, and also as general manager. His technical training and his experience as general manager in an international business environment provide Dr. Mayer with an excellent background for this challenging task at the Adval Tech Group.
This interim solution will leave the Board of Directors of the Adval Tech Group sufficient time to give thorough consideration to the issue of long-term succession at the top of the Adval Tech Group.
