CHINAPLAS Empowers Plastics and Rubber Industry for Sustainability Development amid Economic Changes

(PresseBox) (Hong Kong, ) Under the ever-changing and gloomy global economic environment, plastics and rubber industry have been unavoidably affected. Nevertheless, tying in with the market opportunities and government policies, the industry players can still enjoy steady growth. According to the Chinese customs' statistics, the cumulated amount of plastic products for export from Jan to July in 2013 has increased by 13.7% comparing with the same period of last year, and this increment has decreased by 4.4% on a month-to-month basis. For rubber, the national production value was RMB836.58 billion in 2012, which has increased by 15.5% comparing with the same period of last year. The increment has dropped by 11.7% when comparing to the increment of 2011. Despite of the slowdown on the growth of the plastics and rubber industry, the industry still foresees enormous market opportunities due to their broad application on automotive, building and construction, electrical and electronics and packaging industries together with the implementation of industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization driven by the Chinese government. It is anticipated that the automobile's sales growth rate in China in 2013 will be 7% whereas building and construction industries will enjoy a growth rate of 15%.

Being Asia's no. 1 and world's no. 2 plastics and rubber trade fair, CHINAPLAS 2014 (the 28th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber) will break the scale record again in Shanghai New International Expo Centre, PR China on 23-26 April, 2014. "Since the global financial crisis in 2008, the rapid development of the plastics raw materials and machineries in China have accelerated the upgrading of industries. Many companies understand that using low-end technology to operate cannot sustain their development. Technological and management breakthrough, quality upgrade and following government policies like energy saving, high efficiency and environmental protection are the best solutions. Corporations are suggested to change their marketing strategies according to the market variation, to concentrate the resources on the high-growth industries and areas, for example, increasing needs on the automation equipment resulting from the recent problems of rising salaries and labour shortage," says Mr. Stanley Chu, Chairman of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, Organizer of CHINAPLAS.

CHINAPLAS 2014 is moving forward with time. Among 3,200 sets of the plastics and rubber machineries and diversified raw materials, most of the machineries displayed possess features like energy-saving, emission reduction, high efficiency and automation. Various types of chemical raw materials satisfy the market needs of different industries, such as safety, light-weight, attractive appearance, multi-purpose, heat retention, water resistance, etc.
