Adimec joins the MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program to support the integration needs of its customers(PresseBox) (Eindhoven, )
MVTec Software GmbH, a leading international supplier of standard software for machine vision used in all demanding areas of imaging, started this program in 2007 to provide the best possible integration of the image acquisition devices of its partners with MVTec software products like HALCON.
HALCON is the comprehensive standard software provided by MVTec for machine vision with an integrated development environment (IDE) that is used worldwide. It offers a large library of more than 1800 operators for low, medium, and high level image processing.
HALCON allows system designers to focus on the measurement algorithm and not on the operation of the camera. With CoaXPress, the GenICam standard allows for a direct connection between the software layer and the camera. This means the system designer can use any CoaXPress camera and frame grabber and have a standardized programming interface. To facilitate a maximum degree of flexibility for customers to choose image acquisition devices that are best suited to their application, MVTec has created the Image Acquisition Partner Program, which strengthens the cooperation in development and maintenance of the particular image acquisition interfaces. The goal is to have a plug and play, smooth interfacing experience for the user.
To support the integration needs of its customers Adimec works closely with partners such as MVTec.
