Am 5. und 6. November findet in Köln die Europäische Taximesse statt. Opel ist mit den drei Modellen Meriva, Insignia Sports Tourer und Zafira in Halle 4.1 der Koelnmesse vertreten. Für die Taxiunternehmer hat Opel ein besonderes Angebot: Wer bis zum 31. Dezember 2010 eines der drei Modelle ab der Edition-Linie bestellt, erhält die Basisausstattung des Taxipakets ohne Aufpreis dazu. Dieses umfasst den elektrischen Anschluss für Dachzeichen und Taxameter, die Stromversorgung für die Funkanlage sowie die Alarmanlage zum Absetzen eines Notrufs. Beim Insignia ist sogar der Premiumsitz mit AGR-Gütesiegel Teil des kostenlosen Taxipakets, beim Meriva ist er optional erhältlich.
