Hot Swapping made lighter

München, (PresseBox) - We have to announce a little breakthrough in power distribution.
After several clients had asked us to expand our portfolio with a hot swap plate, we finally tackled that subject.
And challenged it from ground up.

We'd like to introduce to you the Battery Switch Plate by ACSE GmbH.

The following text is an open source shareable press release.

„Over the course of recent years hot swapping made its way into nearly every production in motion picture production. We at ACSE received several requests to expand our offer with a hot swap device, but we weren't  pleased with existing systems on the market.
Batteries need to be replaced after a year or two, due to the high stress for the inbuilt batteries in such devices. A normal conserving recharging cycle is not given. Furthermore is the additional weight not ideal for every shooting situation.

Therefore we at ACSE Gmbh rethought the whole hot swap process.
With feedback of Mr. Jahn of ARRI Rental Munich, ACSE redesigned and constructed a battery switch plate for highest expectations and greater flexibility.

The small weight and the ability to put existing batteries of the operator to use are key features of this new power distribution plate.
Microprocessor controlles seamless switching, LED indicators for the remaining power, 15mm Rod Mount, swapable camera cables, extendable output options and Anton Bauer, PAG or IDX Plate options round up the package.

Whenever it is useful to you, just plug in one of your batteries for the hot swap process. This saves the weight of the hot swap battery by simultaniously enabling you to swap power loads seamlessly.
And if you don't  need that feature the plate doubles as a professional high grade power plate.

Starting at 595,-€ (without VAT and taxes) the Battery Switcher Plate is a great deal in comparison with the existing solution from Bebob and ARRI. Perfect fit for the Alexa Mini and fully customizable for your personal workflow."
