Der AonVirenchecker von Telekom Austria wird laufend upgedated und findet daher auch den aktuell verbreiteten Virus Bagle A. Dazu müssen die Telekom Austria-Kunden lediglich die AonVirenchecker-Software updaten.

Um einen nachhaltigen Virenschutz zu erreichen, erfolgt eine laufende Aktualisierung durch Telekom Austria. Für den E-Mailschutz wird das automatisch im Netz von Telekom Austria durchgeführt, für den Desktopschutz werden dem Kunden laufend Updates zum Downloaden aus einer Virendatenbank zur Verfügung gestellt.
