Am 27. und 28. November 2012 findet erstmals die Mitteldeutsche Windbranchentag statt. Die Messe Erfurt als Veranstalter dieses Kongresses mit begleitender Ausstellung und der Bundesverband Windenergie (BWE) als Programmpartner, vertreten durch die Landesverbände Thüringen und Sachsen, erwarten mehr als 30 Aussteller und 300 Besucherinnen und Besucher. Die thüringische Ministerpräsidentin Christine Lieberknecht hat die Schirmherrschaft der Veranstaltung übernommen.
