Kick-off Veranstaltung zum Aufbau der Stadtwerke Gandhigram Pvt. Ltd.

Das Gandhigram Rural Institute (GRI) im Süden Indiens gilt als Elitecampus. Leben und Lernen gestalten sich für die rund 3.000 Studierenden und 1.000 Mitarbeitenden gleichwohl beschwerlich. Immer wieder kommt es zu Ausfällen der Strom- und Wasserversorgung, die Trinkwassergewinnung kollidiert mit der Abwasserentsorgung. Grundlegend bessern soll sich die Situation auf dem Campus durch den Aufbau eines Stadtwerks nach deutschen Vorbild und einer komplett neuen Versorgungsinfrastruktur.

Indien ist ein gigantischer und noch weitgehend unerschlossener Markt für smarte, ökologische Ver- und Entsorgungslösungen. Im Gegenzug werden Investoren an den neu entstehenden Stadtwerken Gandhigram Pvt. Ltd. beteiligt.

Offizieller Auftakt des Projektes ist eine Konferenz am 12. Juli 2018 im Glasturmsaal der Stadtwerke Schwäbisch Hall. Dort werden die Verantwortlichen das Projekt und Möglichkeiten der Teilnahme im Detail vorstellen.
