IPv6: Sicherheit

Die Sicherheitsaspekte bei der Einführung von IPv6 werden in dieser Veranstaltung behandelt. Als neues Protokoll bietet IPv6 neue Angriffsflächen und neue Möglichkeiten. So bietet die extrem große Anzahl von potentiellen IP-Adressen in einem Segment die Gelegenheit für neue Varianten von Angriffen auf den Speicher der dort angeschlossenen Systeme. Diese Angriffe können sowohl lokal als auch von außen erfolgen. Neben den neuen Szenarien bleiben alte, aus IPv4 bekannte Bedrohungen wie DHCP Spoofing auch bei IPv6 erhalten. Durch mangelhafte Implementierung tauchen sogar alte Schwachstellen wieder auf, die man bei IPv4 bereits erfolgreich beseitigt hatte. In diesem Seminar werden die verschiedenen Angriffsvarianten sowie wirkungsvolle Maßnahmen zur Abwehr praxisnah vorgestellt.
