Auf der Ausstellung Echtdampf-Hallentreffen in Karlsruhe werden hunderte Modelle in verschiedenen Maßstäben in Aktion gezeigt. Private Teilnehmer, Clubs und Vereine präsentieren ihre dampfenden und zischenden Exponate auf den Schienen, Podesten und auf dem Wasser. Erfahrene Dampfmodellbauer erklären ausführlich die Funktion ihrer Modelle. Mit dem breit gefächerten Produktangebot auf der angegliederten Fach-Verkaufsausstellung können sich die Dampfmodellbauer alle Wünsche von der kleinsten Schraube bis zum kompletten Dampfmodell erfüllen.

Im Zeitraum von Freitag, 10. Januar 2014 bis Sonntag, 12. Januar 2014, in dem die Messe Echtdampf-Hallentreffen Karlsruhe in Rheinstetten stattfindet, liegt ein Sonntag am 12. Januar 2014. An Sonn- und Feiertagen kann es in Rheinstetten zu eingeschränkten Öffnungszeiten von Geschäften und öffentlichen Einrichtungen kommen.
