This webinar is created for engineers and operators working with RF and digital avionic signals, devices and systems. That is, for the purpose of research, development, production, installation, calibration and operation of such avionic devices and systems in the following avionic applications: aircraft on-board, ground station, air traffic control, air navigation service provision, aircraft MRO, aviation authority certification and avionic system integration. It will provide you with an overview of the Rohde & Schwarz avionic test competencies and in this the first webinar of this series it will focus mainly on air navigation testing including a hands-on demo.

In April 2011, Deon joined Rohde & Schwarz to head-up the global business development for Test & Measurement in Aerospace & Defence, today he works as a Market Segment Manager for Aerospace & Defence Test & Measurement.

Paul Denisowski, Application Engineer Rohde & Schwarz Inc.
Paul Denisowski is an Applications Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz where he specializes in interference hunting, direction finding and mobile network testing. He has over 20 years of experience in test and measurement and has previously worked in both field and R&D positions at HP/Agilent, Fujitsu and Alcatel. Paul holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and was a visiting lecturer at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Klaus Theißen, Product Manager Air Navigation Rohde & Schwarz
Klaus Theißen is a product manager at Rohde & Schwarz responsible for spectrum analysis and terrestrial navigation analysis. Klaus has a Diploma degree in electrical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) of the Technical University of Aachen in Germany and more than 20 years of experience in the field of NavAids analysis. Since 2008 he had several papers and presentation on terrestrial navigation analysis topics at international symposiums or trade shows.
