Simon RWA Systeme delivers Smoke Protect Curtain for the greatest goldtrading centre in Europe

The new "Goldhouse" in Munich

(PresseBox) Munich, 18.01.2010, Recently, the first highperformance centre for physical noble metal in Europe was developed in Munich. The group of companies Pro Aurum built a new trading centre for gold at the airfield of the ancient airport Munich-Riem.

In the new "goldhouse" the longest produced Simon smoke protect curtain up to now with a total length of 34 metres and a crawling length of nearly 3 metres was attached. The smoke protect curtain "Simon Smoke PROtec" contains altogether seven fairlead components, which are triggered by RSV 500 Master-Slave control panels. An expansion of flue gases into the open interior in case of fire is therefore avoided.

The Simon Smoke PROtec assumes consequently an important function in a chain of fire preventions, which redound to the safety in the building.
