Opening Ceremony at the ITM 2009

Opening speech by Mr. Clemens Ruckstuhl - Managing Director of Oerlikon Textile Components

(PresseBox) Wattwil, 16.06.2009, Oerlikon Textile Components is pleased to announce the opening of the 1st Oerlikon Textile Components Store in Istanbul, Turkey. The opening ceremony held at the ITM 2009 was a tremendous success. In cooperation with Mr. Kazim Erdogan, the Authorized Dealer for Turkey, Oerlikon Textile Components has implemented the store concept during the last months. The result is a fully equipped store with components and consumables for the staple spinning industry, adapted for the demands of the Turkish market.

Spinning mills world-wide indicated their need to purchase all for the spinning process relevant components as economical as possible. This means highest quality from one source with guaranteed availability. These requirements inspired Oerlikon Textile Components - the provider of premium components - to develop the store concept.

In his speech Mr. Clemens Ruckstuhl, Managing Director of Oerlikon Textile Components, pointed out: "Oerlikon Textile Components understands itself not only as the reliable provider of components but also as a provider of outstanding services. Therefore, with the opening of the first store, Oerlikon Textile Components takes the pioneering role in upgrading services".

The store philosophy implies that the store owner - the so called Authorized Dealer - becomes the central contact person and distributor on site. Store staff trained by Oerlikon Textile Components standards will be at the spinning mills employees' disposal with expert advice at any time. Ongoing trainings on the product portfolio ensure the staff's familiarity with the latest product generations and advantages.
