PDA`s werden “Biometrie faehig”

Authentifizierung per PDA via Netzwerk, Intranet und Internet

(PresseBox) Berlin, 27.11.2003, IdentAlink hat soeben seine neuesten Clientmodule auf den Markt gebracht. Bewaehrte Anwendungen wie Secure Application und speziell entwickelte Module laufen jetzt auf allen PDA`s mit Windows CE/Pocket PC und sind voll kompatibel mit der BioPassport™ Enterprise Server Software und den entsprechenden PC Modulen.
Die neu entwickelten Windows CE USB Treiber sind kompatibel mit allen gaengigen Pocket PC basierenden PDA`s(mit USB host) und erlauben Verifications- und Identifikationprozesses vom PDA via WLAN, Bluetooth oder TCP/IP.
Die neuen Applikationen wurden speziell entwickelt um mobile Grenzpolizisten und Polizeiermittler auszustatten. Aufgrund des flexiblen Struktur koennen sie nun verdaechtige Personen an Ort und Stelle verifizieren/identifizieren.
Weitere Module fuer Online Banking, PKI und digitale Signatur sind laut Aussage von Elmar Hilgers, IdentAlinks CIO, bereits Anfang Dezember 2003 vermarktungsfaehig.
