1st European MBA Career Fair in April

New: MBA Career Fair in 2010 with six European Partners

(PresseBox) Hannover, 08.02.2010, The 1st European MBA Career Fair takes place in the bcc Berliner Congress Center on April 26, 2010. For the first time, the fair, formerly named MBA Career Fair, will welcome business schools from wider Europe.

Around 290 students from six internationally accredited fulltime MBA programs in France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom will use the event to meet recruiters from selected international companies.

The original MBA Career Fair has taken place annually since 2004 and is a joint initiative of two of the leading German business schools: the GISMA Business School, Hannover, and HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Participating business schools in 2010 are Audencia Nantes (F), Goethe Business School (G), MIP Politecnico di Milano (I) and Warwick Business School (UK).

Media partners MBA Channel and Jobguide will support the event.

The six MBA programs concerned all offer high standards in terms of quality. They are all EQUIS and/or AACSB accredited and have thus met the strictest criteria so guaranteeing worldclass management education.

The 1st European MBA Career Fair is an important service which aims to provide the students involved with the best possible career start. Since 2004, the original German event has allowed over 10 % of the participants to receive an employmen contract following contacts made at the fair.

Worldrenowned companies will take part in the 1st European MBA Career Fair.

These participating companies will be able to establish contact and also get to know graduates from over 30 countries in arranged interviews and discussion at the open forum.

The MBA graduates from the six programs have all gone through a demanding selection process following a first degree and an average of six years professional experience. Their backgrounds are varied and range from engineers, social scientists, scientists and doctors to economists. The graduates have an average age of 29.

The MBA programs of the GISMA Business School are focussed on young executives with suitable university qualifications and professional experience. They lead to the postgraduate qualification: Master of Business Administration (MBA).
