ContiTech Inaugurates Service Center for Printing Blankets in Singapore

Company profits from major growth markets in Southeast Asia / Customer service expedited

(PresseBox) Singapore, 17.02.2010, ContiTech is expanding its involvement in the Asian printing industry. In Singapore an autonomous service center is now being opened, where PHOENIX XTRA BLANKETS and CONTI-AIR printing blankets will be cut to size and equipped with bars. It will ensure that customers get their assembled printing blankets faster.

"Southeast Asia is regarded as one of the most important growth markets for the printing industry. That is why ContiTech Elastomer Coatings decided to open this new cutting and railing center," said Heiko Eymer, general manager of ContiTech Elastomer Coatings, at the inauguration of the center in Singapore on February 10, 2010. As a trade center for Southeast Asia, the site will supply primarily existing sales partners and graphics dealers as well as final customers in the Pacific Rim region, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

ContiTech Print Service (S) Pte. Ltd., Singapore, is run by general manager Thomas Christensen, who is also PHOENIX XTRA BLANKETS area manager for the Asia Pacific region. He is assisted by sales manager Jake Tan.
