Medos deltastream® MDC console and hilite® AF 7000

New means of communication and efficiency increase

(PresseBox) (Heilbronn, )
The already existing Medos deltastream® complete system is optimized by the current hardware upgrade. The powerful hilite® oxygenator convinces with an integrated arterial filter and heparin-free x.eed® coating.

At the 43rd International Annual Meeting of the German Society for Cardiovascular Engineering in Nuremberg, Medos AG presented latest product innovations: the deltastream® system including several new features as well as the powerful and efficient hilite® AF 7000.

The current hardware upgrade of the deltastream® MDC console offers new means of communication and flexibility. The PDMS data interface enables a connection to a patient-related electronic documentation system and allows communication with existing internal patient data management system (PDMS) of hospitals via the data protocol provided. In addition, the connection of therapy data to an external monitoring unit is possible when Philips IntelliVue patient monitors are used. Console alarms also draw attention with the new "Nurse Call" interface. Innovative high-performance batteries now guarantee operation of the console for at least 120 to more than 420 minutes without an external power supply. Finally, the specially developed compact holder, which can be used to easily transport a deltastream® MDC console "in-house" as a compact unit, also provides greater flexibility.

From the neonate to the adult - an optimized, flexible and individually adjustable treatment strategy.

The hilite® AF 7000 comes with a fully integrated arterial filter, an integrated venous bubble trap, a new processing method of the gas exchange membrane, unlimited transparency of the housing and the heparin-free x.eed coating for improved hemocompatibility - for efficient air removal and additional safety.
