Xeditor and IXIASOFT announced today their partnership and product integration. IXIASOFT is a global leader in the component content management systems (CCMS) marketplace.
With the integration of Xeditor, IXIASOFT DITA CMS users will have access to a new, user-friendly, web-based XML authoring tool for creating and editing DITA based content.
The IXIASOFT DITA CMS provides organizations with a solution to manage their entire DITA technical documentation process. As part of this offering, DITA CMS provides various tools that are tailored to different types of users that may participate in the documentation process. The integration of Xeditor will provide non-DITA experts such as subject matter experts, engineers and product specialists, with a web-based editor that is completely integrated within the DITA CMS documentation process.

The Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) is an XML data model and open standard for authoring and publishing.
