One System - Three components - Maximum possibilities

CONMAXX: The new cable entry system by WISKA for switchboard constructions

(PresseBox) (Kaltenkirchen, )
A fast, easy and safe assembly along with maximum flexibility – these features characterize the new cable entry system CONMAXX by WISKA. Thereby underlining its longstanding competence in development of optimized cable entry solutions.

In switchboard constructions the use of modular cable entry systems for standardised industrial connector cutouts is increasing steadily. WISKA is meeting this increasing demand with the development of CONMAXX, its new innovative product line. The closed frame, the grid audibly locking into place and the conically shaped sealing elements make CONMAXX unique and allow for significantly easier and safe assembly at the same time.

The modular 3-component system of CONMAXX allows for a fast implementation of individual installation requirements as well as later adaptions. Furthermore storage capacities are optimised by using the same components for various possibilities.

High versatility for manifold application possibilities

The CONMAXX frame is stable in shape and fits standardised industrial connector cutouts. Due to its closed construction there is no need for unscrewing to insert or change cables – an enormous saving of time in assembly and installation.

The system offers diverse grid inserts for an individual division of the frame size: E. g. for six small sealing elements or for only two small elements and one big element. The audible clicking into place ensures that the components are installed correctly thereby avoiding installation errors.

The product range includes almost 100 different elements for assembled and standard cables, conduits and special cable types (e.g. AS-i cables) with diameters from 2 to 33 mm. This makes CONMAXX highly flexible for every demand offering many application possibilities.

The CONMAXX cable entry system resists demanding environment conditions and extreme temperature ranges. Frame and grid inserts are made of solid and light glass fiber; the sealing inserts of robust TPE. All components are made of halogen and silicon free material that is also resistant against fuel, oils and grease. Grey sealing elements have fire protection class UL 94 V0 and meet the requirements of the railway industry (EN 45545). Furthermore they are acid and alkali resistant. The temperature resistant black sealing elements comply with UL 94 HB, are especially UV-resistant and have a temperature range of -40 °C to 120 °C. All components guarantee the high protection class of IP 65 with mechanical strain relief on the cable.

Simple and yet versatile in handling, time and cost saving, solid and durable – that is how CONMAXX convinces installers in their daily work. The new cable entry system by WISKA mainly comes to use in switchboards and housing installations. CONMAXX is suitable for the demanding requirements of the rail industry, telecommunications, shipbuilding and the energy industry.
