Ultrasonic component manufacturer moves closer to customers

Weber Ultrasonics founds subsidiary in Asia

(PresseBox) (Karlsbad-Ittersbach, )
The Weber Ultrasonics Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of ultrasonic components for surface technology, ultrasonic welding and special applications, is further expanding its international presence with the subsidiary Weber Ultrasonics Asia founded on 1 July 2013. The new company location in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) allows us to provide optimised support and more effective service for our customers in the Asia region while enabling us to react more quickly to the changing demands in these markets.

After Germany and North America, the globally operating Weber Ultrasonics Group opened a third company location in Asia on 1 July 2013. The Managing Director of Weber Ultrasonics Asia SDN. BHD. is See Long Chong, an experienced expert of the market and industry in the Asia region.
The leading international technological company is thus on the one hand following its customers to the Asian market, enabling them to react more quickly to changing demands. On the other hand, the new subsidiary is an answer to the growing popularity of Weber Ultrasonics ultrasonic generators and transducer systems for industrial component cleaning on the Asian market. Furthermore, the company's direct presence allows new markets in Asia to be tapped.

On-site application laboratory and service centre
The subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) allows us to provide optimised and faster support for customers in fields including the semiconductor, solar, electronics and automobile industries in Asia. As well as its own service centre, Weber Ultrasonics Asia also has an application laboratory for carrying out cleaning tests. For these tests the complete range of Weber Ultrasonics services is available, which for industrial parts cleaning comprises the frequency range from 25kHz to 1MHz. This allows the various parameters such as ultrasonic frequency and output to be ideally matched to the cleaning objects. At the same time, hardware and software development as well as manufacturing are all provided from a single source. This saves both time and money, in particular for cleaning tasks for new products with short life cycles, such as those from the semiconductor and hard disk industry.
For applications in photovoltaics and the automobile industry the company also offers a comprehensive and demand-oriented range of SONIC DIGITAL ultrasonic generators with digital frequency generation and control as modular, DIN rail and stand-alone solutions. Perfectly matched ultrasonic transducer systems ensure optimal transmission of the ultrasonic waves into the cleaning fluid. They are available in the form of SONOSUB submersible transducers, SONOPUSH rod transducers and SONOPLATE plate transducers.

New developments tailored for the Asian market
Weber Ultrasonics responds to the specific requirements of the Asian market with product innovations. As in Europe and North America, the company's new subsidiary also concentrates on the development and manufacturing of standard components and customer-specific ultrasonic cleaning solutions. And because Weber Ultrasonics is not active in building cleaning units, ultrasonic components can be chosen regardless of the system used.
