The sum of the all the points obtained in the individual categories determined the position of the entry in the final evaluation. Different classifications applied for the students from the middle and upper schools. The competition was broken down into two sections: a regional selection and the final. The participants in the regional selection conducted in Dansk, Cracow, Posen and Warsaw battled for a place in the final tournament. As well as going on to the final, the first three teams from each regional round were awarded non-cash prizes.
130 contestants of the 50 best teams from the whole of Poland took part in the final of the "4th Polish National Wind Turbine Competition" in Piaseczno. The teams battled for the top prize in the main classification, in which the first 5 teams from middle and upper secondary schools received cash prizes totalling 6000 PLN. Those supervising the first two teams also received cash prizes of 1000 PLN each. In addition the organiser awarded almost 50 non-cash prizes to the 3 best teams in each discipline.
The total pool of prizes and awards for the contestants in the "4th Polish National Wind Turbine Competition" amounted to 50 000 PLN.
More creative competitions in the future:
The PFE's other goals include the holding of international tournaments, as well as creative competitions in the solar field. Once again vortex energy Polska Sp. z o.o., as a wind and solar all-rounder, will continue to support the development of committed school and college students who show high potential and hence promote innovative ideas for the future.
