Virtual Instruments Survey Finds: Uk Ahead Of Germany In Adoption Of Virtualisation For Business-Critical Applications

Virtual Instruments, the leader in virtual infrastructure optimisation solutions, today announced findings from an independent survey carried out recently by market research agency, Vanson Bourne. The poll of a total of 200 IT decision makers in the UK and Germany aimed to uncover the share of end user organisations which have or are planning to move to a virtualised environment for business-critical applications such as SAP, Oracle and Exchange.

The main findings suggest that the UK is leading the way with 42% of respondents having already made the move opposed to just 23% in Germany. The survey also unveiled xpdj:
