The NetLogic Alchemy®-Processor family
The cores of this new processor family are based upon standard MIPS® processor technology, while both core architecture and implementation were decisively optimized.
The Alchemy Embedded processor series Au1200® (namely the types Au1200®, Au1210® and Au1250®) as well as the type Au1300® optimally support media applications and offer minimum power consumption.
Both products of the 1500 series (Au1500® and Au1550®) are especially optimized for wired and wireless applications. They are capable of speeding-up network and remote-access applications (e.g. in gateways, Network Addressable Storage (NAS) units, in Wireless Access Points or in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)-environments).
