(PresseBox) (Weinheim, )
With effect from 1st April 2014, Max Moser (56), Head of the Parcel Logistics Austria business area, changes from Österreichische Post AG to the company's subsidiary trans-o-flex in Weinheim where he succeeds Oliver Rupps as Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors. Moser had managed the Parcel Logistics Austria business with its 1,500 employees since 2006 and was able to clearly increase the business area's turnover and result. After the end of a co-operation with a B2B parcel service, Moser, in 2007, started to develop and expand the Parcel Logistics' B2B business and also successfully consolidated the position of market leader in the field of parcels for private clients. During his professional career, Moser, who holds a degree in Business Administration and is a native of Austria, also held various positions with Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich, the forwarding company Schachinger, RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria and Oberösterreichische Warenvermittlung, der Verband der Oberösterreichischen Lagerhausgenossenschaften.

"I have known Max Moser for many years and hold him in high regard, both professionally and personally. I am convinced that, with him, we have found the right man at the right time for the challenging task at trans-o-flex", says Peter Umundum, Member of the Board of Österreichische Post AG and responsible for the Parcel & Logistics division. "trans-o-flex operates in a difficult but promising market. I am confident that Max Moser will successfully continue the efficiency increase programmes initiated at trans-o-flex and, on the basis of his broad experience, also give fresh impetus. In this way, trans-o-flex will, also in the future, be the industry's benchmark with respect to quality, flexibility and customer orientation."

Moser's predecessor Oliver Rupps leaves the company at his own request in order to accept a new task. "Oliver Rupps managed to drive the necessary reorganisation processes and to increase the profitability, thus ensuring the strategic further development of the company", emphasises Umundum. "I would like to expressly thank him for his achievements and commitment."
