SSC GmbH veröffentlicht Freeware Version des Server Inspector 3.3

Ab sofort steht bei der SSC GmbH eine Freeware Version der Server- und Netzwerk-Monitoring Software Server Inspector zur Verfügung. Der Server Inspector warnt bei Fehlern per E-Mail oder SMS und kann automatisch Aktionen ausführen, wie z.B. einen Server neu starten oder ein Script ausführen.

Betriebssysteme überwachen

Der Server Inspector bietet umfassende Überwachungen für Betriebssysteme. Administratoren können z.B. Programme, Dienste, CPU, oder freien Festplattenspeicherplatz überwachen. Viele weitere Checks runden das Angebot ab.

Netzwerküberwachung

Version 3.3 beinhaltet weitrechende Überwachungen für Netzwerke. Mailserver werden auf Funktionalität überprüft. Webseiten werden auf Erreichbarkeit überwacht. Ping Anfragen werden versendet und einzelne Ports können angesprochen werden.

Datenbanküberwachung

Gängige Datenbanken wie MS SQL, MySQL oder Oracle werden durch SQL Abfragen auf Funktion überprüft. Andere Datenbanksysteme können per ODBC angesprochen werden.

Weitere Überwachungen

Über einen USB Sensor kann die Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit in Serverräumen gemessen werden. ISDN Karten, z.B. für Fax Server, werden ebenfalls überprüft.

Über die Freeware Version

Die Server Inspector Freeware Version kann unter http://www.optcon.de heruntergeladen werden. Der Download ist eine uneingeschränkte 30 Tage Vollversion und kann nach Ablauf weiterhin für die Überwachung von einem Server eingesetzt werden.
