CTD - sera continues standardisation in dosing technology

New compact dosing station

(PresseBox) (Immenhausen, )
Following the successful launch of the compact dosing system CVD back in 2007 sera's engineers have continued to develop new standardised dosing systems for the industry.

The latest standardised innovation is the compact dosing station CTD. This compact dosing station is suitable for a variety of different dosing applications and further impresses with its cost-efficient design.

Very competitive delivery times of sera dosing units make it the perfect solution for every day processes.

sera's goal was to create a complete modular system which would entirely consist of standardised items but would also still allow the customer a maximum of flexibility.

Customers can configure the new CTD according to their needs and requirements due to various optional accessories.

In order to fulfil any Health and Safety requirements on site sera's CTD can also be designed "gas-tight". Further safety accessories such as a variety of level monitoring devices, splash guards and safety bunds are available as well.

Furthermore the CTD's modular construction allows customers an easy integration of the CTD in already existing systems

CTD compact dosing stations are available in seven different types, each equipped with a different sized dosing tank for more convenience. The size of the tanks could be as small as 40 l or as big as 1000l.

The standard package consists of:

- A PE dosing tank with litre scale and screw cap
- Fixing bracket for secure standing of the dosing tank
- Ventilation ducts
- Suction lance with foot valve and strainer for the optimum optimised dosing removal of substances

sera's dosing pumps will be configured according to the tank sizes and could be mounted on the tank upon request. The following optional components and accessories are available for the CTD's:

- "Gas-tight" including connection to ventilation systems or chemical locks
- Multi-function valve
- Level indication
- Filling valve
- Bunds
- Tank emptying
- Agitator, optionally with control electronics
- Splash guard
- Dosing accessories including pressure-keeping valve, pulsation damper and shut-off valve mounted onto a mounting plate
