Increased output up to 50% from your wind power or solar power station

(PresseBox) (Pilsach, )
Schams Electronics GmbH, the Bavaria based electronic company, is one of the leading European producers of MPP charge controllers for off-grid solar power stations and wind power stations. Recently it also started producing solar-wind power hybrid units. Schams Electronics GmbH also offers complete solutions for all applications: sailing boats, vacation homes, mountain agricultural operations, research stations, etc.

Peter Schwarz, chief engineer of Schams Electronics, has been developing complete solutions for various power transfer requests, ranging from 30 watt to 5 kilowatt. He is very enthusiastic about the potential of the charge controllers. In an interview during the Intersolar fair in Munich this year, Mr. Schwarz said: "Our controllers allow an optimum adaptation of the battery and the solar module during varying degrees of incoming solar radiations. We do not loose any power with temperature forces on the solar cells, i.e. falling below the battery voltage when the solar modules become too hot. The best point is that there is up to 50% additional solar power in times when it is most needed: during periods of bad weather and when the battery is down."

Easy handling and universal fields of application, like deep discharge protection and dimmer, as well as morning- and evening timer for solar lighting, all in one appliance - this makes the Schams Electronics charge controller an essential component for all off-grid energy stations.

"In addition to the proper functioning of your solar system, would you like to guarantee to your customers an optimum output of solar energy, during sunshine and during bad weather, during winter and summer?" asks the sales manager of Schams Electronics, Mr. Johannes Melchers. "With our appliances, the battery is being conserved, and the wiring does not require any special technical skills. With the Maximum Power Point Controller the solar module will deliver maximum performance."

In the area of wind energy the Schams Electronics MPP charge controllers are applicable in an optimal way. Mr. Peter Schwarz emphasized that the MPP charge controller brings an increase of performance to your equipment up to 100%. The charge controller provides an optimal adjustment of battery and wind generator to varying wind speed. The complete solution of integrating necessary system components of deep discharge protection, load resistance connection, and the 3-phase rectifier ensure the efficient functioning of the wind power station.
