Basler ace Kameras mit PGI, neue Firmware unterstützt GigE Vision 2.0

Die acht neuen Basler ace Kameras sind in monochrom und Farbe mit Auflösungen von 2,3 Megapixel und 5 Megapixel lieferbar und zeichnen sich aus durch die großen, leistungsstarken Python 2000 und 5000 CMOS-Sensoren von On Semiconductor mit modernster Global Shutter-Technologie. Die neue Firmware bietet neben dem leistungsstarken Sequencer das Feature-Set PGI, eine Kombination aus Bildschärfe-Optimierung, Rauschunterdrückung, Farb-Anti-Aliasing und 5x5Debayering, das eine sehr hohe Bildoptimierung bei voller Geschwindigkeit ohne zusätzliche CPU-Last ermöglicht.

Die Firmware unterstützt den neuesten Vision Standard GigE Vision 2.0.
Multi-Kamera-Systeme können unter GigE Vision 2.0 präziser synchronisiert und/oder in Echtzeit betrieben werden. Ein wichtiger Bestandteil von GigE Vision 2.0 ist das Precision Time Protocol (PTP). PTP standardisiert den Weg, über den die Komponenten im System ihre Zeit sehr genau (d.h. in der Größenordnung von bis zu einer Nanosekunde) synchronisieren.
