Die Promega GmbH, Mannheim, hat mit Maxwell® 16 eine vollautomatische Lösung für die Aufreinigung von DNA, RNA und HisTag-Proteinen entwickelt. Das System besteht aus dem programmierten Gerät und vorgefüllten Reagenzienkartuschen. Den Anwender unterstützt Promega durch einen umfassenden Service.

Auf Knopfdruck Probenaufreinigung in 30 Minuten

Das Maxwell® 16 ist besonders anwenderfreundlich. Nach Zugabe des Probenmaterials erfolgt auf Knopfdruck eine vollautomatische Homogenisierung und Mischung der Reagenzien durch den Automaten. Patentierte paramagnetische Partikel (MagneSil®) trennen dann beispielsweise gDNA aus dem Gemisch ab. Das handliche, robuste System verarbeitet bis zu 16 Proben in etwa einer halben Stunde.
