PRO.FILE ist eine seit über 30 Jahren bewährte PLM-Lösung, mit Schnittstellen zu allen wichtigen CAD-Systemen aus Mechanik, Elektrotechnik und Elektronik. Neben den unmittelbar durch SOLIDWORKS erzeugten Produktstrukturen, Stücklisten und Zeichnungen können mit PRO.FILE beliebige weitere produkt- oder projektbezogene Dokumente verwaltet werden. Dazu gehören zum Beispiel Spezifikationen, Berechnungen, Änderungsanträge. Darüber hinaus steuert PRO.FILE Entwicklungs-, Freigabe- sowie Änderungsprozesse und dokumentiert diese.
