Die NETHINKS GmbH ist ab sofort Intel Software Partner Program Associate Member. Damit kann der ITK-Spezialist auf eine Vielzahl von Entwicklungs- und Test-Tools zugreifen, um sein auf Open Source basierendes Netzwerk- und Systemmanagement-Tool MONET für die Intel-Prozessor-Architektur zu optimieren. Bereits jetzt erreicht MONET durch das integrierte OpenSource-Werkzeug OpenNMS und dessen parallele Programmierung eine optimale CPU-Auslastung der Intel-Mulitcore-Prozessoren. Weitere Tests Anfang 2009 sollen dann klären, ob und unter welchen Voraussetzungen MONET auch bei der neuen vPro-Technologie von Intel eine optimale Prozessor-Auslastung erreicht bzw. welche Anpassungen dafür vorgenommen werden müssen.
