Von einem Forschungsinstitut wurde die Anforderung formuliert, einen Spiegel innerhalb von 1 ms auf 1 µm genau einschwingen zu lassen. Denn die Anwendung erfordert eine schnell abzufahrende Treppenfunktion. Das wäre bei kleinen Stellwegen nicht so schwierig, aber gleichzeitig wurde ein Stellweg von 300 µm gewünscht. Gut, dass der zu positionierende Spiegel mit 3 Gramm leicht ist. Wir haben für diese Applikation einen hochdynamischen Piston-Versteller mit Ortssensor und mindestens 1.7 kHz Ziel-Resonanz entwickelt und gebaut. Dieser ist zur stabilen Montage direkt auf eine Honeycomb-Platte montierbar. Angesteuert wird mit einem „aufgebohrten“ LC.400 Controller von nPoint, welcher auch bei großen 1 ms Schritten genug Leistung liefert. Übrigens erreicht das System mit der endlich erzielten 2.3-kHz Resonanz Einschwingzeiten von 0.75 ms.
