Attention speakers: Call for papers for Rapid.Tech 2017 is now online

(PresseBox) (Erfurt, )
.

Rapid.Tech + FabCon 3.D
20-22 June 2017
Messe Erfurt

Researchers, users and experts in the 3D Printing sector can now apply to give a talk at the Rapid.Tech 2017 Specialist Conference in Erfurt. The aim is to present a variety of innovations and results to an intentional audience of trade visitors next June. Interested parties have until 11 December 2016 to submit their contributions. Rapid.Tech’s international Advisory Board will then select the most innovative submissions for inclusion on the conference programme.

Germany’s unique trade fair duo of Rapid.Tech and FabCon 3.D was more international and successful in 2016 than ever before. Around 4,500 trade visitors and conference attendees (+13%) (2015: 3,971) from 19 countries experienced the successful combined Specialist Conference and trade fair first hand. A total of 176 exhibitors from 17 countries were represented, and international talks with 88 speakers from nine countries were well attended. More than 5,000 conference and trade fair attendees and around 200 exhibitors are expected to descend on Erfurt from 20 to 22 June 2017.

The successful trade forums from this year’s Rapid.Tech will be back again at next year’s event. Held alongside the User’s Conference and the Fraunhofer Additive Manufacturing Alliance’s GENERATIV forum, these will cover the following topics: 3D Metal Printing, Additive Contract Manufacturing, Automotive Industry, Electronic Engineering, Design, Aviation, Medical Technology, Tools and Science.

The two-day Science trade forum, complete with scientific quality assurance (double-blind review of abstract and paper), will be held for a third time next year. Speakers in the Design trade forum will also have the opportunity to have their submissions scientifically reviewed. The submission deadline for talks with scientific review is 01 November 2016.

New: Speakers can also use the call for papers to register for the parallel 3D Printing Conference at FabCon 3.D, where they can present their trends and ideas on the topics of 3D printing at home, design, architecture and start-up formation in the 3D printing community.

All of the relevant information and the call for papers for Rapid.Tech, including registration documents, can be found at http://www.rapidtech.de/tagungen/tagungen.html.
